dc.description.abstractIn response to concerns about direct care staffing challenges in nursing homes across the nation, on September 6, 2023, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed new federal rules to establish minimum nursing staff standards for nursing homes. The proposed CMS changes could have a substantial impact on nursing homes both in Ohio and across the nation.en_US
